February 15, 2013 (MASHPEE) _  The Mashpee Wampanoag tribe has re-scheduled its tribal election for February 24^th.

It was cancelled last weekend because of the blizzard.

The vote will now take place between 1 and 4 p-m for elders and disabled voters.

All other tribal members will vote from 2 to 4 p-m.

Tribal Chairman Cedric Cromwell is being challenged by Richard Oakley and David Pocknett.

There are also contested races for vice-chairman, treasurer, secretary and at-large tribal council.
