August 16, 2012 (BARNSTABLE) _ There's been another shark sighting off Cape Cod, but for the first time this summer, it took place in Cape Cod Bay.

Fisherman Jeffrey Richardson of Sandwich says he was looking for tuna the other day when his crew saw a shark about three miles off the coast of Barnstable.

Richardson took pictures and video of the fish, which he estimated to be about 12 feet long.

The state’s shark expert says based on his initial viewing of the video, he's pretty sure it was a great white. Greg Skomal says it's unusual to see sharks in Cape Cod Bay.
