November 13, 2012 (BUZZARDS BAY) _ A fundraiser for a young mother and her two children who were burned out of their Buzzards Bay cottage is set for this weekend. 

 Bernadine Gates, 31, and her two children lost their home last week. All they had left were the clothes they were wearing that day.

On saturday – the Quahog Republic Dive Bar in Falmouth will host the Gates Family Fire Relief fundraiser.

Organizers are planning a raffle and auction -- and a visit from former American Idol performer Siobhan Magnus. 

The fundraiser runs from 2 to 6 p-m on Saturday and will be hosted by our sister station Cool 102’s morning show.
