November 28, 2012 (NANTUCKET) _ The Coast Guard medivaced an ill fishermen from a boat 60 miles south of Nantucket Tuesday.

The call for help from the “Captain Bligh” came in around  8 pm – reporting a crew member who was sick and unable to communicate.

A rescue helicopter from Air Station Cape Cod lifted the unidentified man from the boat and flew him to the Barnstable Municipal Airport.

The victim was transferred to Cape Cod Hospital – there was no word on his condition.
