
DENNIS - Last Thursday at about 9:05 p.m., the Dennis Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 16 Aunt Julia Ann’s Road in West Dennis. The fire involved the complete destruction of a free standing garage on the property with all of its contents totaling more than $100,000 dollars.
Since this time investigators from the State Fire Marshal’s office along with Dennis Police and Fire Department personnel have determined the cause of the fire to have been arson.

Brother and sister nabbed in Mashpee drug sting
MASHPEE - Members of the Upper Cape Emergency Response Team conducted a drug raid at a residence at 11 Pond View Drive around 6 a.m., following a two-month investigation. Police recovered small quantities of cocaine, heroin and Percocet. Arrested were Douglas Hathaway, 21, who was charged with possession of a Class B substance (2 counts), unlawful possession of ammunition, assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest, and his sister Allyssa Hathaway, 23, who was charged with possession of a Class B substance. Both were due to be arraigned Wednesday in Falmouth District Court.
16-year-old missing from Falmouth
EAST FALMOUTH - A 16-year old Falmouth teen hasn't been seen since New Year's Day.Brianna Katherine Kondroski is described as 5 foot 4 inches tall, 120 pounds with blonde hair and green eyes.
Brianna's ears, tongue, and lip are pierced, and she has a scar on her left eyebrow.
When Brianna was last seen, her hair was dyed blonde with black streaks.

Two injured in Centerville crash

CENTERVILLE - About 11 a.m., Two vehicles collided at Route 28 and Strawberry Hill Road in Centerville.A Mercury Marquis and a BMW sedan collided with the Mercury then striking a pole.
The driver and passenger from the Mercury were taken to Cape Cod Hospital by Centerville ambulance.
The driver of the BMW declined transport.
Traffic was delayed in the area for about an hour until the scene was cleared.

Rollover in Mashpee slows morning commute
MASHPEE - A rollover crash on Route 28 at Job's Fishing Road shortly before 8:30 a.m. caused delays for morning commuters. Firefighters had to extricate the occupant of the vehicle who was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. Mashpee Police are investigating. Further details were not immediately available.
Discarded cigarette leads to Harwich truck fire

HARWICHPORT - A truck fire around 8 a.m. Wednesday, closed Route 28 for 45 minutes between Sisson Road and Doane Road. The driver of the Ford F-150 said he flipped a cigarette out the window that landed in the back of the pick-up and caught fire. By the time he noticed the smoke it was to late and the truck was destroyed. Harwich Fire quickly brought the fire under control.

New details in Provincetown child porn arrest
PROVINCETOWN - Provincetown Police have released new details on the arrest of George T. Lloyd III on Child Pornography charges as reported in the PPD weekly arrest report. Police say the investigation started back on October 5th, 2011 when they responded to an area off Race Point Road after being alerted by Cape Cod National Seashore Park Rangers about an illegal campsite. The rangers pointed out a plastic bin that was found to contain several items including photographic equipment and several photos which police said depicted children clearly under the age of 18 engaged in sexual poses. The Rangers then led police to the adjacent site where several tents, tarps and furniture were observed. A subject identified as 45-year old George T. Lloyd III, was also present. During a search of the tent, the Rangers discovered several drawings and a possible photograph of children under 18 who appeared to be engaged in sexually explicit acts. A digital camera, laptop, memory cards and DVDs. During an interview at the police station, Lloyd reportedly admitted to owning the bin that was first discovered, as well as the items in the tent. Provincetown Police also learned Lloyd had been observed perusing child pornography sites at a local internet cafe and had been observed outside the shop using the WI-FI connection on his laptop. The laptop was examined by State Police experts. Lloyd was arrested on Sunday on two charges of Child Pornography and an outstanding warrant. He was was arraigned in the Orleans District Court on Monday and held at the Barnstable County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.Material from Provincetown Police used in this report
Mashpee native missing from NY college
MASHPEE - A Mashpee native has been missing from an update NY college since January 10th. Jessica Ronhock was last seen at Elmira College, located in upstate New York.The 21-year-old reportedly left a note for roommates saying she was returning home for a family emergency. However, she did not return home, and her family has stated there was no emergency.
Ronhock has been confirmed to have been in Florida and Texas, and credit card records place her in Williams, Arizona on Jan. 18th, the last activity on her credit cards.
Authorities believe she may be heading for the Grand Canyon, and officials also say they do not believe she is suicidal.
