Trio arrested for illegal drugs in Yarmouth

YARMOUTH
- Yarmouth Police report that On Monday at approximately 5:45 p.m. while working in plain clothes and traveling in unmarked and marked police vehicles members of the new Yarmouth Police Department Proactive Anti-Crime Unit (PAC-UNIT) teamed up with Yarmouth Police Detectives and began saturating the parking lot areas of several businesses on Station Avenue in South Yarmouth near the CVS and Wendy’s.

The task force of Yarmouth Police Officers observed actions were consistent with the sale of illegal narcotics occurring between occupants of a Mercedes and Audi. Based on this observation they encountered the occupants of a white Mercedes which then attempted to flee out of the parking lot backwards at a high rate of speed, striking a curb, and coming to a stop.

The operator, Dylan E. Vacher, 32, of Sandwich (left) and passenger, Theresa A. Reilly, 48, of Sandwich (center) were removed from the vehicle and a small clear baggie containing 10 blue pills with scoring on them were located on the passenger seat. The pills were later positively identified as Oxycodone hydrochloride 30 mg.

Vacher and Rilley were placed under arrest and later transported to Yarmouth PD Headquarters where they were booked and charged with Felony Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance (Oxycodone hydrochloride) and Conspiracy to violate the Massachusetts Drug Laws.

The operator of the Audi was located inside of Wendy’s and identified as Jacques A. Vilcin, 28, of South Yarmouth (right). Vilcin was subsequently placed under arrest for Conspiracy to violate the Massachusetts Drug Laws and after an interview at Yarmouth PD Headquarters, $300 was located on Vilcin and an additional charge of Felony Distribution of a Class B Drug was added.

All three subjects were scheduled for arraignment in the BDC today.
