NANTUCKET - Coast Guard rescue crews medically evacuated a 48-year-old male off the fishing vessel Pontus, approximately 30 nautical miles east of Nantucket after he was reported to be from suffering from chest pain. The Coast Guard Cutter Seneca was called by VHF radio by the Pontus at approximately 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon to assist.
A small-boat was launched from the Seneca with a boarding team and a corpsman on board to evaluate the man. Air Station Cape Cod launched a MH-60 Jayhawk Helicopter and safely transferred the man from the fishing vessel. He was taken to Hyannis Airport for additional transport to Cape Cod Hospital for further evaluation. His condition is unknown.

Four arrested in early Friday morning warrant sweep
YARMOUTH - During the early morning of Friday, the newly formed Yarmouth Police Department Proactive Police Services Team consisting of Lieutenant Patrick Carty, Patrol Sergeant Kal Boghdan, and Patrol Officers Justin Haire, Michael Wells, and Diana Wells arrested four suspects during a warrant sweep. Arrested were 63-year-old Dennis Lavey who had an outstanding straight warrant for failure to appear for Felony Larceny from the Barnstable District Court, Steven P. Derome who had two outstanding straight warrants for a variety of Motor Vehicle Offenses from the Orleans and Barnstable District Courts, Jason Wilson who had an outstanding straight warrant for failure to appear for Assault from the Falmouth District Court, and 31-year-old Daryl Lehtola who had an outstanding straight warrant for failure to appear for Failing to Pay Fines from the Barnstable District Court. All four were later arraigned in Barnstable District Court.
