Single-vehicle crash on Route 6
BARNSTABLE - A vehicle went out of control and crashed into a roadside sign on Route 6 Monday evening. The crash happened shortly before 8 p.m. on the westbound side just past exit 7. The driver of the car was treated and released at the scene. Firefighters also had to mitigate a small amount of fuel that leaked from the vehicle. State Police are investigating the crash.
One arrested for OUI post superbowl in Yarmouth
YARMOUTH - Despite the disappointing results of Sunday night's Super Bowl game to most Cape Codders, the Town of Yarmouth was relatively quiet during and after the game. There were no reported motor vehicle crashes and 10 people took advantage of Operation Safe Ride Home.
One person made the mistake of driving intoxicated and he and his drunken passenger were promptly detected and arrested by Yarmouth Patrol Officers Brendan Carnes and Sean Gannon after they left a Super Bowl house party.
Leonid Estrella, 28, of West Yarmouth was stopped on Route 28 at 1:00 a.m. and is charged with OUI Liquor, Marked Lanes Violation, Operating to Endanger, Speeding, and Open Container of Alcohol.

Body found in Hyannis
HYANNIS - Police are investigating the discovery of a body outside the Powerhorn Outfitters shop on Barnstable Road Monday. The body was transported to the medical examiners office where an autopsy will be performed. There was no indication of foul play.
