July 23, 2012 (BOSTON) _ A member of the Barnstable Police Department was in the spotlight at Fenway Park this weekend.

Patrol Officer Steve O’Brien sang the Canadian National Anthem and God Bless America.

O’Brien – who has been on the force for some 25 years – has performed at several major sporting events.

It was the highlight of the day for the Red Sox – who lost 15-to-7 to the Blue Jays.

O’Brien was on hand as part of Cape Cod day at Fenway Park – which featured both activities and people from the Cape.

Lisa Sullivan Jason of Chatham sang the national anthem.
