The FAA last week issued a determination of "no hazard" for the 130-turbine project off Cape Cod. An appeals court had forced the FAA to reconsider a previous approval. In its appeal -- the alliance to protect Nantucket Sound says the FAA put politics ahead of public safety. FAA documents have shown employees felt political pressure to approve Cape Wind. A Cape Wind spokesman said the appeal has dim prospects.
