August 2, 2011 (CAPE COD) Cape Cod’s congressman was one of just a few Massachusetts Democrats to vote for the debt ceiling deal yesterday.           

William Keating joined Niki Tsongas and Stephen Lynch in supporting the bill.           

The rest of the house delegation voted against the measure. Congressman John Tierney says he voted against the debt ceiling deal because it compromises U.S. defense, national security and punishes the poor and middle class.
