August 15, 2011 (SANDWICH) An accident in Sandwich late last night seriously injured the driver – but spared her toddler.           

The unidentified driver crashed into a couple of trees just off Route 130 in Forestdale around 11:20.           

She was taken to South Shore Hospital with serious injuries.           

The accident happened near Jan Sebastian Drive and no other vehicles were involved.
