August 10, 2012 (WEST BARNSTABLE) The new president of Cape Cod Community College also has a new role at the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce.            

Dr. John Cox has been elected to the board of directors at the chamber – filling a vacant spot as of September 5^th.            

Cox begins his first semester at four C’s – after taking over from Kathleen Schatzberg who retired in June.            

Cox was previously the vice president for finance, operations and government relations at Harford Community College in Maryland.            

While in Maryland – he served on the legislative committee for the local chamber of commerce.
