July 5, 2012 (MIDDLEBORO) Two people have died after a pickup truck being driven in the wrong direction struck a vehicle on Route 105 in Middleboro.             

Two others were hurt, including a 6-year-old Cape Cod boy.            

State police say a pickup truck was traveling south in the north bound lane last night when it struck another vehicle.
            
The pickup's driver, 27-year-old Patrick Adams of Plympton, was declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the car – 47-year-old Christopher Backman of Middleboro, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
            
Two others, 30-year-old Linda Millett of Brewster and her 6-year-old boy were taken to hospitals.            

The woman is in critical condition. The boy's condition was not immediately known.
