June 22, 2012 (WELLFLEET) Wellfleet police are investigating an apparent drowning.            

Officers responded to Indian Neck Beach off Omaha Road around 7 p-m last night.            

According to Cape Wide News – that’s where bystanders pulled the 82-year-old woman from the water.               

She was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital where she was pronounced dead.            Her name has not been released at this time.
