June 15, 2012 (HARWICH) A boat crashed into the jetty in front of the Belmony Condos in West Harwich late last night.

The operator was not injured.

The Harwich Fire Department Marine Unit responded to the accident just before midnight.

On arrival – they found the boat’s captain making his way off the jetty.

By-standers head the crash and called police.

A second crash victim remained on the boat was picked up by rescuers.

Officials believe the boat was traveling at a high rate of speed just before the crash.
