February 15, 2012 (YARMOUTH) Yarmouth police say they will not issue charges in an accident that killed an 18-year-old Yarmouth woman last month.          

Chelsi Varney was found lying on the side of the road at the intersection of Buck Island Road and West Yarmouth Road on January 9th.          

Police say their investigation found there was no way Brian Gardiner of West Yarmouth could have avoided hitting Varney.            

The DY student was attempting to cross the street at the time of the accident.
