December 1, 2011 (CAPE COD) Today is World Aids day – a recognized effort to raise money and awareness. 

Events across the globe will honor those living with Aids and those killed by the disease. 

On Cape Cod – free HIV/Aids screenings will take place at Cape Cod Community College.

A candlelight vigil and silent walk will be held in Provincetown at the Town Hall tonight at 5 p-m.

According to the World Aids day website, over 33-million people are HIV positive.
