November 23, 2011 (CAPE COD) Today’s rain and high winds are combining to cause ferry delays between the Cape and Islands.           

The Steamship Authority cancelled the early morning runs of the Sankaty and Iyanough between Hyannis and Nantucket this morning because of the weather.           

The Hy-line was hoping to run its high-speed ferry between Hyannis and Nantucket -- but was operating on a boat-by-boat basis.           

Both ferry lines urge passengers to call ahead or check online throughout the day.
