November 23, 2011 (BOURNE) The US Army Corps of Engineers has suspended work on the Bourne Bridge for the rest of the holiday weekend – and removed the lane restrictions.            

All four lanes will remain open until 9 a-m on Monday – when constructions will return to the bridge.           

Steel repairs are being made above and below the deck of the Bourne.            

All the work should be complete by the middle of next month. Similar repairs will be made on the Sagamore Bridge in the Spring.
